They've introduced a new rate class specifically for high-usage customers, like data centers, requiring a 14-year commitment to pay for their power, regardless of usage. This move is seen as a crucial step to ensure data centers contribute their fair share. To address customer concerns, the company is launching a dedicated webpage, offering tools and programs to help reduce bills. These include peak-time rebates, virtual energy audits, and bill assistance programs.
